This is a half-self-portrait and half character concept drawing. This is not the creature I actually picture myself as, but it was a challenge as I had to be careful with absolutely everything, especially facial features as I was actually planning to do a complete self portrait. But it turned out this way and I hope that i don't look that shitty comparing to all those beautiful women you see online every day.

The strings.....oh yes, the magic strings that I constantly try to unwrap are the fragile thoughts, imaginations....consequences....lives that I can control. I think that this is a pretty complicated painting to explain and there is too much personal stuff to it that I would like to keep for myself...
Anyways, about the technical stuff:
It took me 2 days to finish, Photoshop only.
I've spent most of the time on the HANDS (bloody hell, thought I was going to kill myself, but didn't happen just yet)
Not much reference photos taken...no, just one of me which I will not post

And no tutorial this time...or at least today.

Faun by ~Alissia is just one of the amazing pieces in this artist's gallery. It almost portrays something evil in nature, but on the other hand you have all the nice, glowing lights to suggest a lighter form of magic!
